My wife and I have many Bloodhounds, that we train for Search and Rescue,breed and sell. Our female is show line but has a great nose and drive.Our stud is out of top line Search and Rescue.We have Black and Tan saddled and latest whelping we got a blanketed pup. As we find and/or create documentation that will assist with SAR and related activities, we add that information to our downloads page. We do have these downloads for members only, you only have to register to become a member to be able to download and use this information.

We have also been helped foster Katrina animals through OPERATION BRING ANIMALS HOME. This has been a very great and rewarding experience for us. We have had our ups and downs with this also. We received dogs that were scared to death, watch them come out of their shell to enjoy life, and then assist in finding their forever homes with new loving family's.

Cats that are afraid are tougher because we have such an active house. But when we get to see them come out of their shell, it is very rewarding.

We both belong to the Citizens Emergency Response team that is run by our county. We help with traffic control duties, Search and Rescue, Snowmobile, 4 wheeler, and boat patrol. We also help with other areas that some of the officers do; as in Bike Safety fair, County fair and Mardi Gras, and Dare events among other things.

All of this is in a voluntary non profit capacity so all the rewards we get are the Thank You's and licks from the animals but this is more than enough for us.
